Double Overtime!

We had the best game ever last Wednesday against Virgin Valley, Mesquite. It went into double overtime, and we ended up wining! The final score was 38-36. I scored the last point. It was awesome. My coach was way proud, because it was his old team. It was fun, but very very stressful. I am so glad we won! Then, I couldn't go to the next two practices because I had to work at the Dickens Festival. I worked 3:30 to 9:30 on Thursday and Friday, then on Saturday I had to work for 12 hours straight. It was the longest day of my life! I did earn $168 so that's really good. My mother went to New York without me, so I had to stay at my grandmas house! She also went to the play Wicked. She is so so so lucky! I want to see that play so badly! At least she got me a pin, to add to my collection. It was a different week, but a good week. This week I have three games so I am going to be very busy. I hope we win!

First Basketball Game!!!

We went to price and played carbon, but we lost. We were playing sophomores, and they were a lot bigger than us. The trip was fun, we got to Carbon at midnight, and stayed at a pretty nice hotel. We practiced in the morning, and then went to go to the game. Our uniforms are awesome!!! We also got two new t-shirts, one black and one white. Anyway, we played our game, and I scored a few points, but we lost. Then we watched two more games, and drove home. We got home at 3 in the morning, and then we had to go to school the next day. I was really tired, but we had a short week of school because of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was way fun. We went over to my grandmas, and ate a lot of food. It was fun. I also saw the best movie in the world, Twilight! It was the best movie of the year! Edward was a hottie! haha. It was the best movie in the world! I loved it. I want to see it again, but no one in my family wants to go again. I will probably go with my friends. It has been a fun week. This week I have a game in Virgin Valley. It will be a good game, because it is my coach's old team. He is hoping and hoping that we beat his old team! I hope so too! I will keep you updated! Welcome to the High School Basketball Team!!!

I made the basketball team! It was a lot of hard work. I played 12 and a half hours of basketball this week, and I am exhausted! The freshman team is the sophomore team also, so I am going to have 36 games this season. For my first time playing basketball, I am not that bad. Thanks to my bro, I know how to play post pretty good. We have learned 3 inbound plays, 3 different defenses, 2 press breakers, and 2 offensive plays. It is a lot to cram into my brain, but I think I got it. We are going to get some sweet matching new shoes, that only weigh 12.4 ounces. We are also getting sweats, jerseys, T-shirt, jackets, practice shirt, and practice shorts. It is going to be awesome, unlike soccer all we got was a t-shirt. Our first game is in 9 days! I am very nervous, but we are playing carbon. When we played carbon in soccer we beat them like 4-0, so I have a good feeling about it. School is getting really tough, I have a lot more tests. I have an A- in my uncles class, if that tells you anything. ha ha. It is mid term next week, and so that is good news. I know all the countries and capitals in the middle east, so that is cool. I hope we do good in basketball this year, but I just don't know yet, so we will see.

Update!

Man, I have been so busy. I have started to going to basketball practice, and softball practice. It has been way fun. Those sports are different than soccer because I don't know everything about them. I am ok at softball, but I really need to improve on basketball. Basketball try-outs are November 10, I don't really care if I made it, but it would be cool. Especially because I have only played in rec league a couple times, like 3 years ago. haha. I am planning on doing rush again, but I don't know. Last night I had a soccer banquet to give out awards for the high school team. I got miss fancy foot. I am glad it is over, but I am so ready to be on Rush again. That is the best team ever. Mostly because the coach is way nice. That was the problem on the high school team. Tomorrow is Halloween. I am going to wear my brothers football uniform. I am not really excited for it this year. I don't know what I am going to do tomorrow night. Probably hang out with my friends. Why do we celebrate Halloween??? I got a 4.o on my report card, which is flippin sweet. I was excited. Also High School Musical 3 came out. I liked it, I thought it was good. I thought it was way cheesy though. Brock won his football league, they were awesome! Abby is doing good she is playing soccer, but she is playing defense. I could never play defense, I am not aggressive enough. She is good at it. I also went to the stake dance which was way fun. Maddie went with me and we had a blast! Life has been good, I hope it stays this way.

October!

Well, everything is going ok. I am still playing A LOT of soccer. I only have one game and one practice left! We only lost to Dixie 1-0 it was a really close game. Now I am thinking about trying out for basketball. I am not very good, but at least if I made the team it would give me something to do. Everyone on the soccer team is trying out too. It is going to be fun if I make it. Also we are having softball practices already, starting in two weeks! I can't believe it has already started. I am excited. Tuesday night I have a choir concert. It is going to be fun. I don't like choir as much as I did last year, but it is still an easy class to get an A in. I probably did 2-3 hours of homework this weekend. It seemed like that was all I did!!! At least in two weeks we have fall break, but I have to go with Dufus (long Story). I will blog after that. No pics sorry.

Birthday!

I am now 15 years old! I got a lot of good stuff for my birthday. I got 2 pairs of awesome shoes, as you can see in the pic. I also got some skirts, and itunes gift cards. The day of my birthday I had a soccer game against the best team, Dixie. We lost, but my family brought a sign and some brownies. It was way cool. I kept the sign, because it was so awesome. Thanks to all the people that made that sign, and gave me such sweet birthday. We also went out to dinner, to samuri 21. It was way good, but it would have been better, with Wario as our chef. haha. I am going to get my permit sometime this week, and I can't wait. I had a great birthday! On Friday, we had a game against Canyon View. It was an awesome game. We won by one point. I scored on a penalty kick, winning the game for us. It was so fun! Thanks to my cool gramps for the pics. I love them. I feel like I am a star player whenever I see one. It was a great week! Fun Stuff!!!

Saturday I went out to the lake, and I surfed! It was way cool!!!I felt way close to the boat, but I guess that is how you are supposed to be. I got up my third try it wasn't even that hard! I can't wait to do it again. Soccer is going pretty good for the most part, except we lost our game to Hurricane. It is ok though. I hope we start winning the games that count. More than half the players on my team are hurt, which is totally stupid. We are having, on average, 4 practices a week and 1-2 games. I am never going to get over being sore. I am getting a lot stronger, and getting in better shape. We have a game on Tuesday, against the best team. To earn money for my team I had to go volunteer for a race today, I had to hand water out to the runners. It was at 5 a.m.! I am so tired right now, at least I got a wicked sweet t-shirrt. At the football game on Friday I had to sell thunder bands!!! It was fun, but I lost my voice from screaming so loud. I had to do it for student council. Student Council is fun! I have a lot more responsibility but I think I can handle it. My birthday is in two days. I got some sweet new shoes, and some skirts for church. I am going to be 15! I am going to go take the test to get my permit sometime next week. I am so excited! Lots of stuff coming up, and I can't wait!

Soccer Season Begins!

I had three soccer games this week, against Snow Canyon, Pine View, and Carbon. The one against Snow Canyon was not very good. It was the very first game of our season. We lost 3-0. It doesn't count because they are a 4A school, and Desert Hills is a 3A. The one against Pine View was the same. The one against Carbon was the fun one. I scored in the first 10 minutes of the game. It was awesome. Then we scored 3 more goals in the first half. The second half I didn't get to play much, but we scored one more goal. Carbon got a penalty shot, so that made the score 4-1. It was our first home game, and I am glad we won. The next game is on Thursday, and then I have a game on my birthday, Sept. 9. I am so excited! I am going to be 15! I also am going to get my driving permit! I can't wait! School is going ok. I have lots of homework this year, and not as much time. I am having to stay up later, and really use my time wisely. I am having fun though. Pics of soccer games are yet to come!

Unstoppable Thunder!!!

Desert Hills thunder is unstoppable in every sport. We are kicking butt!!! The first football game was on Friday and we won 36 to 3. Cross Country, Tennis, and most important soccer, is winning everything. I had a soccer game today and I scored 2 goals. We ended up winning 7-0 it was way fun. My grandpa took a bunch of cool pics. My game was way up in Cedar, so we had another long bus drive, but it was worth it. Varsity won too. They only won 2-0 though. We have three games this week, so lots of soccer. I can't wait. I think our JV team is really good. School is going good. Student Council is way fun. We have this camera thing now, so the whole school can see us. Scaaaary! I have a bunch of friends in my classes too. I just hate the beginning of the school year because you take tons of pre-assessments. I hate tests. Only 171 days left. haha. It has been a good school year so far, hopefully it continues.

First Day of School, First Soccer Game!

School is ok this year. The honors classes I am taking are going to be rough, but I will make it through them. Most of my friends are in my classes, so that is good. The first day of school was the longest day of my life. I hope this school year goes by quick. At least on Friday I got to miss two classes to go to my first pre-season soccer game. Our first game was in Delta. We got there around 5:00 and Varsity played first. They won 2-0. Then it was our turn. I started off playing forward, not goalie. We started the game and the other team got a lucky goal right in the beginning. I bet the entire game I had at least 20 shots on goal but the ball was just not hitting the back of the net. The other team had a really good goalie. So, we lost our first pre-season game but we had a chance to redeem ourselves the next day for our second game. This game was in Cedar. I started off as forward again. This time we got a quick goal right in the beginning. I made the assist. Then the other team made a goal for us. haha. Then it was half time the score being 2-0. I really wanted to get a goal so I went in as forward again. About half way through the second half I shot a nice shot right to the corner, and it went in! I was so excited. We scored one more goal that second half making the score 4-0. I was so glad we won. It was a great game. I can't wait to play again, but I could wait 2 more years to go back to school. Our team has SWEET uniforms. I am also #9 (Mia Hamm's #)Our first home game is in two weeks. Can't wait!!! It was a long week, but rewarding.

Welcome to the High School Soccer Team!!!!

Well, it has been one very challenging week, but through all my hard work I made it on the Desert Hills Soccer Team!!! I am so excited!! The coach only took 27 out of 32 people. I tried my hardest at the try-outs, and I guess I did good enough. Our first game is next Friday already!!! The two a day practices killed me, I am still very sore. Also getting up at 5:30 in the morning made me get even more tired, but I am so excited I don't even care!!! We are going to go out to dinner to celebrate tonight. I am so excited, but still nervous on how my team is going to do. Also school starts on Monday!!! I got my schedule, and I have pretty good classes except, I wanted my uncle as my teacher, because I heard he is a fun teacher, So I called the school and they are going to see what they can do about it. It is going to be a perfect year. The 4 best things about school this year. 1. The High school Soccer Team 2. Student Council. 3. Making the best choir in my school. 4. All my friends and teachers. I am so excited for all these things, but I am also going to be very busy. I am taking two honors classes so I will probably have a lot of home work. I better find time for all these extra things I am doing. I am so excited!!!

Salt Lake, Conditioning, and TRY-OUTS!!!

This week for the first three days I went up to Salt Lake to watch my cool bro play in a basketball tournie. He did good his team got second place. It was fun to stay with my cousins. I also went to the Salt Lake Real game. They won 2-1. It was such a good game. I was cheering and screaming the whole time. It was awesome. Then when I came home I had conditioning for the high school team. It was brutal. Very hard core. I am glad I have been training hard for it or else I would have literally died. My favorite thing we did was run stairs, even though my legs are sore now. I have try-outs in three days!!! I am so nervous!!! People keep saying that I will make the team, but I am so nervous I will probably totally mess up. I hope not. I will blog again after try-outs. Also, school starts in 10 days! :( not excited. I would like to thank all the people that are giving me all the nice comments. thanks. GO DESERT HILLS THUNDER!!

Pikes Peak Tournament!!!!

It was a great week up in Colorado Springs. My team took 2nd place!!! There were a lot of hard teams but over all we did good. The first game we lost 1-0, not a good way to start off. The second game we tied 1-1. Better than last game. The third game we had to win to make it to the finals, we won 3-2, tough game and a lot of stress. So we were in the finals, the end of the second half, tied 0-0, and it started pooring rain and gusting wind. Of course the wind was in the other teams favor blowing every shot they took my way. I saved a bunch of shots, but in the end they ended up getting two lucky shots on us. So we lost 2-0. We got second place, and a sweet medal. I am excited for how we did, and glad we did so good. I was glad I went but more glad to come home. The day I got back I went to the new batman movie. It was GREAT. It was a definite see. If you haven't seen it yet, go see it now!!! The joker was a great character, but very scary!!! Cool make-up. I am going to continue training for conditioning in a week. Can't wait.

Soccer, Soccer, HOT!!

I had a two day training camp these past couple of days, to get ready for Colorado. They were pretty hard. We had two practices a day for 1 and 1/2 each. The first session had about 45 minutes of conditioning, then we did some skills which was ok. The first session wasn't very hot, just around 87, which is ok to deal with. The second session was very hot, around 102, which killed us. It was very hot. To make it hotter, we were playing on turf, which is like fire. But it was way fun to play soccer all day. I feel more prepared to go to Colorado now. It is going to take us 10-11 hours to get there. :(. I hate driving, but I think it will be worth it once I get there. There is going to be college scouts there!!! I can't wait. I am going with one of my close friends. I am so excited. 4 more days until departure, time to rest up!!!

Carlsbad!

I just got back from Carlsbad, California. It was a great vacation. We stayed at a place called the surf motel. It was way fun. The beach was great! There was a lot of people there, but it still worked out. My favorite thing to do was go boogie boarding. It was awesome. The waves were pretty big, just what I like. It wasn't as good as Hawaii, but a beach is a beach. On the third day the water was very cold, but I didn't care I still got in. We got a bunch of cool pics with our sweet new camera. I can't wait to go back there again. Yesterday I went out and biked the triathlon trail. It kicked my butt! Going up the hill I thought I was going to die. I was riding someone lse's mountain bike, with thick, thick tires, but it was ok. After that I wanted to see if I could run, I could only run about a mile. Then we went and swam after. It was a fun day, but I am sore today. Now all my cuzins are here and we are having a blast. It has been a busy, busy summer. Still to come: Soccer two-a-days for two days in a row, Colorado for a soccer tournie for 1 week, conditioning for 1 week, and then what I have been waiting for all summer-soccer try-outs.

Soccer Camp!!!

Soccer camp was so fun! I played 10 games, had a conditioning session, and had 3 goalie trainings all in 4 days!!! I am very sore, but recovering quick. It was fun to be with all my friends. We had so much fun. The very first day I jammed my thumb really bad. We thought it was broken that day so I was out for half a game. I wanted to keep playing so I told everyone that it was fine. It killed when ever I stopped a shot, but it was worth it. I think I impressed my coach, and I think I will make the JV team, but I don't know for sure. It is good to have that over with, but I can't wait until next year to go back. I made a bunch of new friends, and had fun with my old ones. It made me a lot better, and I can't wait for try-outs. Tomorrow I leave for vacation, or as I am going to call it-recovery time-. Camp was fun, but a lot of soccer-just what I like!!!

Weekly Update!

The last two days I have spent my time in Cedar City watching my unstoppable bro play basketball in the summer games. They did good. They got third. It was fun to watch his team, they are really good. My job was to take pics, I think I did a pretty good job. My training is going good, I go to camp next week so I am taking it kind of easy this week, so I can be all ready to play my heart out. I am feeling a lot of different emotions about SUU camp, happy, scared, anxious, nervous, and excited. I will just be glad to get it over with. I have been going to soccer 2 days a week, and I am doing great. My soccer skillz have gotten a ton better. I am still hoping to make the high school team. Can' t wait for try-outs, and SUU camp!!! I am doing great!

Wizards pull out 0-0 tie with Real Salt Lake!

Kansas City goalie Kevin Hartman made seven saves and the Wizards survived a flurry of Real Salt Lake scoring opportunities in 0-0 tie on Saturday night. "That's really my job," Hartman said, "to get clean sheets and give our team an opportunity to get wins." The Wizards nearly won it as the game entered stoppage time, but Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando dove to his left to push away a blast by Kerry Zavagini. Real was luck that they didn't score on that shot. It was an intense game, but no scoring.

Kung Fu Panda and Maid Of Honor!

I am continuing my "hard core" training. I have gone spinning two more times, and ran two more times. I am feeling good. Yesterday I went and saw "KUNG FU PANDA" starring the voice of Jack Black. He is my favorite actor besides Zac Efron. Jack Black was so funny in "School of Rock" and "Nacho Libre" that the only reason I went to go and see this movie was because of him. A couple of days ago I also went and saw "Maid of Honor" It was an ok show, but it was a total chick flick. I would recommend both of those movies. Soccer try outs are getting closer and closer by the minute. I start soccer again this week! I am so excited to try out my new cleats and gloves. I am training harder and harder to make that high school team. I can't wait!

Real Salt Lake vs. San Jose Earthquakes

Real player Robbie Findley scored in the 48th minute after assisting Javier Morales' goal just 12 minutes later, leading Real Salt Lake to a 3-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night. Real Salt Lake player Dema Kovalenko scored on a penalty kick in the 73rd minute to finish Real Salt Lake's scoring. Real Salt Lakes record is now, (3-5-2)This game ended their two-game losing streak, moving them up in the Western Conference standings. It was a great game.

"Hard Core" Training for Soccer Tryouts!

Woke up at 6:30 today to go and run. I ran 3 miles, and did an ab workout. I going to start training really hard so I can make the high school soccer team. Tryouts are August 4-7. I still have a long time, but I really need to make the team. I am hoping for making varsity, but JV would be great too. I am going to continue training with my current team, and I hope that will make me better too. I am nervous for tryouts, but I have a long way to go until they come. I am going to push myself to my limits. I still have SUU camp to worry about! Lots of soccer coming up, I can't wait!!! :) I also got some sweet new goalie gloves and cleats!

Boating-Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

We took the boat out to Sand Hollow Reservoir yesterday. The water was really really cold, but it was still fun to knee board and wake board. The boat was great, running very smoothly. I hope that the next time we go the water is at least 70 degrees. I finally got up on the knee board, and i went out of the wake. I had such a great time, especially because all my cousins were with me. My grandpa spent $5,000 just on the sound system, but they were awesome! Gas wasn't cheap either, we put $100 to fill just 1/4 of the tank!!! It is $400 to fill the tank!!! I can't believe it. I am excited to go again, but I hope it is about 10 degrees warmer!.

Spinning and Quick Swim!

I went to a spinning class today and it just about killed me. It was really hard. Why do they squeeze you into a tiny little room with no air!? It was so stuffy and sweaty in there, I probably sweat more in there then I have in my whole lifetime. The lady said we were climbing hills today. About half way through the class I thought, Hills!!!??!?!?!?!? We are climbing freaking mountains!!!! I was dying, I need to go more often so I can get better. The lady also went 15 minutes after the class was supposed to be over, so it was a 75 minute class! I am never going to her class again-just kidding. After that I went and swam!!! As if I wasn't tired enough?!!?!?!? I just had a short amount of time so I only swam 1,000 yards, but still after a spinning class that seems like 10,000 yards. I feel pretty good now. I feel like I got my workout in for the day! I need to get more in shape, if a spinning class made me that tired! I am going to go more often so I can get better, not for a while though. I'm glad I continued my "hard core" training.

Salt Lake Real vs. FC Dallas

I thought that the Real was going to have a victory against FC Dallas, but in the 83rd minute Oduro scored, making the score 1-1. The time ran out to 90 minutes, but they had to play 3 minutes of stoppage time. As it looked like it would be a tie, Oduro scored once in the 91st minute. Real tried to come back, but it was just not their night. At the end of the game FC Dallas had a victory against Real, final scoring being 2-1. I couldn't believe that the Real would let them score twice in the last 10 minutes. I wish they would have won, but it was a fun game to watch.

New at Blogging

Well, this is my first time ever blogging. I am new at this, so I hope this works. Today is the first day of summer, no more school!! I am so excited!!! I always get so bored in summer, that is why I created this blog. This summer I plan on playing a lot of soccer! I play Goalie. Soccer is so fun. I am going to soccer camp, playing on a team, and going to just play soccer with my family. I love soccer so much!!! I hope I can play soccer my whole life. Today my cuzins are here. We did so much fun stuff we played catch phrase, we played basketball, and of course we played soccer! I love my my cuzins. Well I am going to try and post this now!
