More Basketball, and Christmas

Christmas was last week, and I got some sweet stuff. I got a new camera, which is way cool, so when I figure it out, I will put some pics on here. I also got a new softball mitt, which is awesome. I also got a way cool Ipod player, it is way cool. It was a way good Christmas. Brock got an X-box 360, so he was way happy. Abby got a lot of games, and lots of other things. I love Christmas! Basketball is going great! We beat another JV team, so that is good. I don't like basketball as much as soccer, but it still gives me something to do. We start our real season on Thursday, starting off with Dixie, so it is going to be a tough start. In my last game at half time my coach chucked a marker at the white board, and it broke, and ink flew everywhere, and we were up by 8! I couldn't believe it! He is such a spaz! hahah. I like basketball though. Some people have told me that they hate blogs, I feel that if they hate blogs, then don't read them! You can do a blog if you want to. I like to do my blog. haha. I hope I can get some pictures on my blog really soon.

Double Overtime!

We had the best game ever last Wednesday against Virgin Valley, Mesquite. It went into double overtime, and we ended up wining! The final score was 38-36. I scored the last point. It was awesome. My coach was way proud, because it was his old team. It was fun, but very very stressful. I am so glad we won! Then, I couldn't go to the next two practices because I had to work at the Dickens Festival. I worked 3:30 to 9:30 on Thursday and Friday, then on Saturday I had to work for 12 hours straight. It was the longest day of my life! I did earn $168 so that's really good. My mother went to New York without me, so I had to stay at my grandmas house! She also went to the play Wicked. She is so so so lucky! I want to see that play so badly! At least she got me a pin, to add to my collection. It was a different week, but a good week. This week I have three games so I am going to be very busy. I hope we win!

First Basketball Game!!!

We went to price and played carbon, but we lost. We were playing sophomores, and they were a lot bigger than us. The trip was fun, we got to Carbon at midnight, and stayed at a pretty nice hotel. We practiced in the morning, and then went to go to the game. Our uniforms are awesome!!! We also got two new t-shirts, one black and one white. Anyway, we played our game, and I scored a few points, but we lost. Then we watched two more games, and drove home. We got home at 3 in the morning, and then we had to go to school the next day. I was really tired, but we had a short week of school because of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was way fun. We went over to my grandmas, and ate a lot of food. It was fun. I also saw the best movie in the world, Twilight! It was the best movie of the year! Edward was a hottie! haha. It was the best movie in the world! I loved it. I want to see it again, but no one in my family wants to go again. I will probably go with my friends. It has been a fun week. This week I have a game in Virgin Valley. It will be a good game, because it is my coach's old team. He is hoping and hoping that we beat his old team! I hope so too! I will keep you updated! Welcome to the High School Basketball Team!!!

I made the basketball team! It was a lot of hard work. I played 12 and a half hours of basketball this week, and I am exhausted! The freshman team is the sophomore team also, so I am going to have 36 games this season. For my first time playing basketball, I am not that bad. Thanks to my bro, I know how to play post pretty good. We have learned 3 inbound plays, 3 different defenses, 2 press breakers, and 2 offensive plays. It is a lot to cram into my brain, but I think I got it. We are going to get some sweet matching new shoes, that only weigh 12.4 ounces. We are also getting sweats, jerseys, T-shirt, jackets, practice shirt, and practice shorts. It is going to be awesome, unlike soccer all we got was a t-shirt. Our first game is in 9 days! I am very nervous, but we are playing carbon. When we played carbon in soccer we beat them like 4-0, so I have a good feeling about it. School is getting really tough, I have a lot more tests. I have an A- in my uncles class, if that tells you anything. ha ha. It is mid term next week, and so that is good news. I know all the countries and capitals in the middle east, so that is cool. I hope we do good in basketball this year, but I just don't know yet, so we will see.

Update!

Man, I have been so busy. I have started to going to basketball practice, and softball practice. It has been way fun. Those sports are different than soccer because I don't know everything about them. I am ok at softball, but I really need to improve on basketball. Basketball try-outs are November 10, I don't really care if I made it, but it would be cool. Especially because I have only played in rec league a couple times, like 3 years ago. haha. I am planning on doing rush again, but I don't know. Last night I had a soccer banquet to give out awards for the high school team. I got miss fancy foot. I am glad it is over, but I am so ready to be on Rush again. That is the best team ever. Mostly because the coach is way nice. That was the problem on the high school team. Tomorrow is Halloween. I am going to wear my brothers football uniform. I am not really excited for it this year. I don't know what I am going to do tomorrow night. Probably hang out with my friends. Why do we celebrate Halloween??? I got a 4.o on my report card, which is flippin sweet. I was excited. Also High School Musical 3 came out. I liked it, I thought it was good. I thought it was way cheesy though. Brock won his football league, they were awesome! Abby is doing good she is playing soccer, but she is playing defense. I could never play defense, I am not aggressive enough. She is good at it. I also went to the stake dance which was way fun. Maddie went with me and we had a blast! Life has been good, I hope it stays this way.

October!

Well, everything is going ok. I am still playing A LOT of soccer. I only have one game and one practice left! We only lost to Dixie 1-0 it was a really close game. Now I am thinking about trying out for basketball. I am not very good, but at least if I made the team it would give me something to do. Everyone on the soccer team is trying out too. It is going to be fun if I make it. Also we are having softball practices already, starting in two weeks! I can't believe it has already started. I am excited. Tuesday night I have a choir concert. It is going to be fun. I don't like choir as much as I did last year, but it is still an easy class to get an A in. I probably did 2-3 hours of homework this weekend. It seemed like that was all I did!!! At least in two weeks we have fall break, but I have to go with Dufus (long Story). I will blog after that. No pics sorry.
